  • Acupuncture & TCM 

    Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine or “TCM” is a comprehensive system of medicine based on thousands of years of knowledge and clinical experience.

    TCM uses acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutritional and lifestyle theory and massage therapy, to correct the imbalances in the body that cause disease, allowing the body to naturally heal itself and prevent further illness from developing.

    Tui Na | Chinese Massage

    If you are particular afraid of needles but want to use Traditional Chinese Medicine to relieve pain and stress or address your health concerns Tui Na is a wonderful alternative.

    Tui Na (pronounced "t-way na") is the bodywork branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In contrast to most other massage forms, it utilizes the acupuncture points and pathways. As such, its effects conditions you wouldn't think to seek out a massage therapist to address such as migraine headache, insomnia, anxiety, menstrual pain, indigestion and post-partum healing along with all of the more traditional complaints such as frozen shoulder, low back pain, tendinitis, and stiff neck.

    This form of massage is performed on a fully clothed client. A Tui Na massage can be scheduled separately or in conjunction with an acupuncture treatment.

    Tui Na is comfortable, therapeutic & healing.

R A T E S  &  F E E S

Acupuncture

Acupuncture visits last 1 hour and 15 minutes. An acupucture visit will include in addition to acupuncture if needed; an herbal consultation (herbal  medicines are an additional price), Tui Na massage (up to 10 minutes), cupping, moxabustion, electro-stimulation of acupuncture points, and nutrition & lifestyle counseling.   • Acupuncture Treatment $65
  • 1st time Consultation & Evaluation Fee: An additional $40. Please allow 2 hours for your initial visit.

 

Tui Na Massage 

5 to 10 minutes of Tui Na is included if necessary for a patient's condition in the acupuncture visit. However for those in need of or desire a longer Tui Na, a massage can be scheduled in conjunction with acupuncture or on its own. For the rates for group events see the EVENTS page. 

 

  • 30 mins: $40
  • 60 mins: $80
  • 90 mins: $105

 

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is integral to your overall health and longterm vitality. An herbal consultation is included in your acupuncture visit. However, for those wishing to not receive acupuncture or if you have scheduled a Tui Na massage only, additional time can be scheduled for an herbal consultation. In fact, I highly recommend it!  

 

  • Herbal Consultation (without Acupuncture): $35 for a 30 minute visit.
  • 1st Time Consultation & Evaluation Fee: An additional $30. Please allow 1 hour for your initial Herbal Medicine visit.
  • The price for Herbal Medicine varies by the needs of the individual, roughly $7 - $28 a week.
